Alternative routes from Termignon–Val-Cenis
From Termignon, there are two beautiful ways to reach the refuge: on foot or by bike.
On foot (from the Pont du Villard car park), via the Route du Sel (Via Alpina):
This hike follows a historic mountain route, once used to connect the valleys. The path gradually takes you through the different alpine levels: forest, mountain pastures, and finally the high-mountain landscape.
By bike, via the D126 towards Bellecombe / Plan du Lac:
A magnificent, steady and scenic climb. This iconic mountain road is highly appreciated by cyclists for its quietness, open landscapes, and the spectacular arrival on the Bellecombe / Plan du Lac plateau.
In both cases, the reward is the same: reaching the heart of the Vanoise National Park, in a preserved and unspoiled mountain environment.
